“Weenie Dog Run for the Roses” ENTRY FORM INSTRUCTIONS

**** New for 2010 - Racing is FREE if you register online. Entry fee is $15 the day of the race. ****

SHOT RECORDS, including Rabies ARE REQUIRED. Present a copy of shot records or tag at check in table the day of the race.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Must be a certified “Weenie” Dog – this does not mean they have to be AKA registered.
  • Each entered dachshund must have an accompanying human.
  • May bring your dog’s favorite toy. (Toy may not be bigger than 8 inches)
  • No food (human or dog) or other pets allowed in racetrack area. Performance treats are allowed.
  • All dogs must be on a leash.
  • Owners are required to clean up their dog’s accidents.
  • Dogs should be on their best behavior. (unruly dogs will be disqualified, there will be no refund)
  • Only one owner per racing dog in racetrack area.
  • No waving blankets or other large items at the start of the race.
  • The first and second place dogs from each race will compete in the final races of the day.

REMEMBER: The only thing serious about this race is the FUN! Judge’s decisions will be final. For the safety of everyone concerned, the track reserves the right to refuse participation to humans who cannot meet all the qualifications of the race.
