The MEDT is sponsoring a seminar on developing a business plan for anyone who has ever had a good idea but might not be sure of just how to develop it and see it through.
Jim Albriton, SCORE Counselor, will be presenting the process of taking your idea from zero to completion in three parts:
Developing the idea
Making a business plan
Presenting your plan to potential investors
The presentation is Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Mineola City Hall and is in conjunction with the Mineola Innovation Fair to be held in Aril of 2010. For more information, please read the flyer about this program or call Jim Albriton at (903) 850-6300 or Wayne Cosby at (903) 266-0815.
Saturday, 9-12-2009, marked the opening of the Mineola Museum of Transportation and History. Eleven years in the making, this museum is loaded with memorabilia from Mineola’s past. A little rain didn’t slow down the opening at all. It was very well attended and a good time was had by all.
Below is a short video of the opening of the museum. The museum operates largely on donations, so we have provided a link that you can use of you wish to make a donation to the museum. 100% of your donation will go to the museum. PayPal fees are absorbed by BrightSide Media, so please make a contribution to this very worthy cause.
