On Friday, April 16, Lake Country Playhouse opens with Victoria’s House, a suspense thriller that is sure to send a shiver up your spine. Saturday, 9-12-2009, marked the opening of the Mineola Museum of Transportation and History. Eleven years in the making, this museum is loaded with memorabilia from Mineola’s past. A little rain didn’t slow down the opening at all. It was very well attended and a good time was had by all.
